Much appreciation for the courage and integrity of the reviewer of perhaps my boldest book, Impressing the Whites: The New International Slavery, which set off alarm bells in the Indian literary establishment, so much so that no one who had some care for his/her future would give a positive review of the book (the Hindu’s hedging review, other newspapers’ attacks, are examples).
Anyway, here is the review (the result of an interview), yet another review that seems to come from the heart.
